Heart-Shaped Food Fun for V-Day

I was working really hard this Valentine's Day to be the mom I've always wanted to be.

Make a heart-themed breakfast, volunteer for the class party, create the perfect quirky valentines for my kiddos and all that other crap. I really, really thought I was going to have time to do it all.... 

...we'll it didn't happen (surprise!) 

So I resorted to Pinterest (suprise #2) to get some ideas (read: steal) and then be inspired for some creativity to get going on my own family and school party planning. 

Unfortunately, I was ready for all the things you can do with HEART-SHAPED FOOD! I was thinking things like pizza, pancakes and heart-shaped cut fruit, but these pins are so much more! So rather than try to put together a few ideas for Valentine's Day, I'm totally going to show you my favorites from Pinterest. 

Hopefully these will make you out to be the heart-filled mom you are hoping for (or at least save your ass if you've forgotten that next week is Valentine's Day!)
